How to: NAILS

Here’s how to plan your perfect set:
1. Schedule your nail appointment about one week before your session. We recommend booking a gel manicure or acrylic set roughly 5–7 days prior. This ensures your nails are fresh and polished, but not so grown out that they’re distracting. Fresh nails photograph beautifully — chipped polish does not.

2. Don’t know what color to choose? Stick to neutrals. You truly can’t go wrong with soft pinks, nudes, milky whites, or a classic French tip. Neutrals complement every outfit and every vibe — romantic, bold, cozy, editorial. They keep the focus exactly where it belongs: on you.
3. Speaking of color… skip the neon. While bright shades can be fun for everyday life, neon polish tends to pull attention in photos and can distract from your face and body. In boudoir, we want the energy centered on your confidence — not your highlighter-yellow fingertips.
4. Don’t want to book an appointment? Press-ons are your best friend. Target (and similar stores) have amazing press-on options now. They’re affordable, easy to apply, and look fantastic on camera. If you’re short on time or budget, this is a perfect alternative.
5. Choose the shape and length that make you feel confident. Short and natural? Elegant and effortless. Long almond or coffin? Bold and glamorous. Square? Clean and classic.
There’s no “right” shape — only what feels most like you. Confidence reads louder than trends. And when all else fails… add crystals. ✨A subtle gem accent can be such a beautiful little detail, especially for bridal or glam sets. Just keep it intentional and cohesive with your overall vibe.
At the end of the day, your boudoir session is about the full experience — the details included. Hair frames your face. Lingerie sets the tone. Nails tie it all together.
It’s those small, thoughtful touches that elevate everything.
And trust us — we notice. 💅✨
